Datuk Dr.Elamaran Sabapathy is the founder and Executive Chairman of ECapital Strategos, a consulting firm based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia offering Business, Management and Financial consulting services in Asia and Europe. He plays an active leadership role both in strategy and operations, including overseeing the Company’s transactions. To every client situation, he brings his in-depth knowledge and experience in international business and deal structuring.

He also had served in the Huat Hing Group, a Privately Held Company as the Group Executive Chairman. A Diversified Group with interest in Investments, Manufacturing, Plantations, Reforestation, Property Developments, and also with strategic investment in few notable Public Listed Companies. His responsibilities encompassed the macro management of the Group as well as the setting of the various key strategies. In the 15 years since his stewardship began, the Group has achieved exceptional growth and profitability figures. The Corporate Social Responsibility focus of the Huat Hing Group too has expanded during this period.

In the year 2021, he shifted his focus towards fulfilling a larger mission and founded the Skanda Capital Group to spearhead his vision to bring impact to developing and emerging economies.

Datuk Dr. Elamaran is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA), Australia, Fellow Member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Australia & NZ. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (MCISI, UK) and an Accredited Certified Financial Planner (Financial Planning Standards Board, U.S.A.).

He is a graduate from HEC-University of Liege’s Advance Management Programme, and also holds an MBA from Federation University Australia as well as a Bachelors degree in Applied Management and BBA(Distinction) majoring in Accounting & Finance. He was also conferred a PhD in Conflict Handling Management (Distinguished Presidents Award Recipient) from Bulacan State University in 2011.

He has attended multiple executive and professional courses at leading business schools in the world, and also has been very active in community work and supporting the less fortunate with deep appreciation for culture and the arts.

Datuk Dr. Elamaran has been honored numerous times for his vision, integrity and strong leadership. In recognition of his influential actions and distinguished contributions and services to the Government of Malaysia, international bodies, foundations and community at large, he has been conferred with several awards. Among them are Datukships from the rulers of Malaysia and the Knighthood conferred-by the Sovereign Order of Saint John.
